About Me
Hello, I’m Lynn Wang (she /they). I’m a therapist deeply drawn to understanding human behavior, relationships, and the ways people find belonging. I value authentic connection, emotional understanding, and creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without pressure to perform or have it all figured out.
As a bilingual, neurodivergent, first-generation immigrant, I bring both professional training and lived experience into my work. I’m fluent in English and Mandarin and I understand the complexity of navigating multiple cultures and expectations.
These experiences shape my commitment to providing therapy that is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect for your unique story. If this resonates with you, I welcome you to reach out.
I offer in-office and Telehealth appointments from 3pm - 8pm Wednesday - Sunday.

Passion Areas
Navigating immigrant, cross-cultural, and multicultural identity experiences
Exploring the impact of cultural and generational trauma on identity, emotions, and relationships
Affirming LGBTQ+ identity development, self-acceptance, and belonging
Examining attachment patterns and how early relational experiences shape adult connection
Providing neurodivergent-affirming support for identity, burnout, and daily life
Addressing anxiety, depression, grief, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions that reshape meaning
My passion areas reflect the themes I feel most drawn to and most energized by in my work with clients.
Modalities & Education
My work is grounded in an integrative approach that explores how past experiences shape present thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. I tailor therapy to each person’s needs, drawing from evidence-based and relational approaches including attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, ACT, person-centered therapy, IFS, motivational interviewing, and feminist theory.
These approaches support greater self-understanding, emotional insight, self-compassion, and lasting change.
I provide services under the supervision of Ali Simpson, LMHC.
Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling / Johns Hopkins University
Bachelors of Arts in Psychology / University of Iowa
Outside the Therapy Office
Outside of the office, I enjoy engaging in calm meaningful activities that foster connection with the people who matter most to me. Spending time with friends and family allows me to express myself authentically, feel seen, and experience mutual care and belonging.
I also value quiet moments of solitude and grounding through hobbies such as swimming, archery, journaling, crafting, and other creative pursuits that help me reconnect with myself.
